Car rental
I own way too many cars… Offering some of them for rental allows me to justify the hoarding a little!
There are two categories of cars: Those offered for track/rally use only and the ones you can actually rent to drive places. Track cars will be brought to the track by us and we will meet either at the track or at VK Drive.
All regular and track days rentals require:
100.000yen deposit for regular/trackday rentals
200.000yen deposit for door to door races
400.000yen deposit for actual rally weekends.
Keep in mind rally weekends require a much heavier organization and time ahead of the rally to get you licensed and registered.
Rental includes whatever set of tires is available…
It'll have a used set of track tires, not as performant as a new set of tires. The purchase of brand new tires is possible and will have to be planned in advance.. Cars are offered with a full tank of gas included in the price.
The cost of registration at the track is not included in the prices you will be quoted.
As an example, a full regular day on Motorland Suzuka costs around 25.000yen but can be cheaper on some “special days” like Fridays. Tracks like Suzuka Twin, Central Circuit and similar are more expensive. Rentals that include a door-to-door race are also priced differently.

Available for regular rental at 10.000yen a day.
6spd, VVTi engine, torsen differential,
it’s a friendlier car than the white one that’s also capable on the track.

Renault Clio 2RS Rally
Available for track use and rallies only (yes it can be driven on the roads normally, you will not want to road trip in it… trust me!)
5spd, very aggressive diff, very short gearbox, loud, 236 points (or so) roll cage…etc
Track day starts at 90.000yen. It’s possible to rent it for a complete rally… Rental for a 2-days rally weekend starts at 350.000yen (that includes used tires, you can purchase new ones instead.) Registration, race licenses, rally insurance…etc are extra. It does not have AC.
Honda Today JA4 MTrec
Available for track use only.
660cc NA 5spd little beast,
it’s the perfect car for endurance races…
Rental starts at 60.000yen for the day.
Umm Alter 2
Available for regular rental at 16.000yen a day. It’s currently out for maintenance.
5spd turbo diesel 4x4.
It’s not exactly comfy, but what it lacks in comfort, it compensates in charm! It also has working AC and an awesome tape player!

To guide you a little, a track day at a small local track (Motorland Suzuka) will run you from 60000 to 90000 yen + tax depending on the car of your choice. The cheapest car being the Honda Today, the most expensive car being the Renault Clio 2RS rally car (tarmac focused). That rental cost includes tires for the day (basic new or used Nankang NS2R or AR-1 depending on availability) but a better tire option is available at an extra cost.
A typical track day will include 4 to 5 sessions of 20 to 45 minutes.
It is also possible to register for rallies, but that requires a lot more documentation so please contact us directly… Two-days local rallies rental start at 350.000 yen + tax, tires not included. All registration costs and everything outside of the sole rental of the car are not included.
For people living outside of Japan an international racing license is mandatory. For people living in Japan a National B racing license is required. We can help get that license.
